About This Role
We are seeking a meticulous Nuclear Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst or Engineer to join our team. The QA Analyst / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of operations, equipment, and processes within a nuclear fuel cycle facility. This role involves being part of the team developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance programs to meet regulatory and operational standards.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) programs in compliance with NRC, DOE, and ASME standards, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, and other relevant requirements.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the qualification of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with QA requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including procedures, plans, and reports, to ensure alignment with QA standards.
- Support the development of training programs on quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices for facility personnel.
- Prepare and present QA performance metrics and reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in regulatory reviews and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with nuclear quality standards.
- Stay informed about evolving regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to nuclear quality assurance.
