Custodial Services Technician II Job Description:
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of district facilities, including classrooms, offices, and other areas. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, and other areas of the school district
• Use specialized cleaning equipment to ensure effective cleaning and sanitation of surfaces and floors
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance during winter months
• Maintain building security by monitoring doors and windows
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and increase recycling efforts
Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent
• Preferred knowledge of methods for commercial cleaning, safety practices, and procedures
• Ability to read and understand material safety data information on chemicals and materials used to clean and maintain facilities
• Ability to use computers to communicate using email, reference information, and utilize online work order and facility scheduling software
