Hybrid : This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite at the Austin IT Innovation Center North or Warren MI, three times per week minimum or other frequency dictated by the business. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Prognostics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with a strong technical background in vehicle health management and prognostics. In this role, you will guide the research, design, deployment, and launch of advanced diagnostics and prognostics products. We are looking for an innovative continuous learner and collaborative problem solver who is driven to take ideas to production.
Responsibilities :
- As a subject matter expert on vehicle health management and prognostics, provide guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to developing software architecture, tools, and processes, and oversee the design, development, and validation of prognostics solutions, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, program management, and engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of prognostics projects.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in prognostics, ensuring compliance in all products and initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and new technology, and educate the global team.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Drive innovation and research in prognostics methodologies.

Compensation : The expected base compensation for this role is $172,900 - $264,800 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential : An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
