Role
- Direct Report to the Plant Launch Operations Manager (PLOM)
- Coordinate with PEM/APEM in processing TWOs during the launch process
- Work with ECR coordinators to manage breakpoints for changes from ECRs at a part number/usage level
- Manage VIN breakpoint for traceability for ECRs and TWOs
Responsibilities
- Assist PEM/APEM in processing Temporary Work Orders during the MVB Launch Process at the Assembly Plant.
- IRT/Engineering to confirm TWO parts arrive at the Assembly Plant, are correct for the specific build by visual contact. IRT/Engineering to report to TWO Quarterback.
- Expedite TWOs for the MRDs.
- Validate all TWOs have a EWO breakpoint in MGO. If not, ensure a new TWO is initiated.
- Ensures parts are received from Supplier with appropriate labeling and TWO identification.
- Assists in the reconciliation of the TWO Master List against lists generated by Engineering.
- Reviews status of TWOs to ensure TWO is in "implement" status prior to processing.
- Notify Launch Leadership of TWO's that are about to expire.
- Utilize spreadsheet to track all TWOs for the Plant Launch for all MVB builds.
- Coordinates with Supplier/Supplier Quality/Design Engineers to ensure applicable parts are being shipped to Plant Sequencer in time for next build event, are stored in the appropriate quarantine area and documented accordingly.
- Ensures unused TWO parts have proper disposition (scrap, etc.).
- Assists in reconciling Plant Sequencer Log Sheet against Bill of Material (BOM) - ensuring Plant Sequencer's are using the intended TWO material.
- Assists in resolving issues as TWO parts are moved line side for installation.
- Reports status at appropriate meetings
- Analyze each new ECR from daily "ECS Effective Date Change and New ECS Report" generated from MGO and add to ECS summary report.
- Download the ECRs at a PN level and track and distribute reports in a database.
- Validate the breakpoints at a part number level daily for all parts breaking in the next week.
- Finalize in MGO the ECRs to exhaust the parts at a part number level and/or dispose per engineering direction.
- Work with plant Orders/Scheduling coordinator to ensure breakpoints are locked in before orders are pulled ahead into the plant.
- Write local deviations for part substitution TWOs to ensure proper broadcast and MGO record balance adjustments
- Record in system the first VIN of all EWOs starting during a Saleable MVB build event.
- For each MY- report out weekly what is coming in the next 3 wks.
- Run daily reports with any new part numbers breaking in the next 5 days that will include breakpoint parts and new option build parts.
- Report out all upcoming breakpoints on a plant established basis.
- Communicate upcoming engineering changes to the plant floor.
- Run the ECR/TWO meetings.
- Attend the PFEP meetings w/updates.
- Edit 20 buy in: Conduct review of TWO with key stakeholder in the plant, ensure the intent is understood and the plant can support the plan and timing.
- Complete buy-in in system for the plant.
- Ensure SharePoint or other plant tool record is created after Quality Engineer (QE) buy-in is complete.
- IMPL 50 buy in Traceability. Traceability requirements minimum requirements includes capturing the 1st vehicle VIN at pay point on the day the TWO starts or the actual VIN the TWO starts. Record in system and complete Buy In.
- Upload a PDF of the Sharepoint record into System for ETOs only.
- SharePoint record is closed with feedback to DRE for a TWO.
- IMPL 60 buy in Traceability. Capture and document the first vehicle VIN at pay point the day after the TWO ends or the actual VIN the TWO ends. Record in system and complete Buy In.
- For Assembly, traceability is required for MVB Saleable and post SORP vehicles only. PPV and NS are out of scope.
- Monitor E squared inbox for new TWOs and track via Sharepoint or equivalent tool.
- Monitor and "andon" for Sharepoint for updates, expiring/late items with no updates.
- Monitor E squared inbox for new ECRs at IMPL 70.
- IMPL 70 buy in for Traceability: capture the 1st vehicle VIN at pay point on the day the ECR first breakpoints or the actual VIN the EWO starts. Record in system and Buy In.
Preferred/Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or Technical Background
- Experience in program management and vehicle launch
- Assembly plant experience in Production or Maintenance
- Microsoft Office application knowledge
- Advanced Excel Proficiency
