Oil Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during delivery.
• Utilize manual transmission skills when required for specific vehicle types.

Skills

• Proficient in route driving with a strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Familiarity with various types of trailers including flatbed, tanker, and roll-off trucks.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatch and customers.
• Class A or B CDL
• Tanker endorsement
• Hazmat endorsement
• Positive attitude
• Team player
• A commitment to safety protocols and procedures while on the road.
