General Placement Service is currently seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Advisor to work on a hybrid basis in the Chicago area. Our client is a top rated excess insurance company with locations nationwide. This role will not be responsible for adjudicating claims, rather overseeing the claims process by working with insureds and TPAs. Ideal candidates should have previous experience with a carrier and managing self-insured risks.
Responsibilities :
- Addressing and resolving coverage issues
- Mitigating exposures and setting reserves
- Preparing detailed reports
- Traveling to conferences, mediations and trials as needed
