Assembler

General Plastics is currently seeking Assemblers for our 3rd (9 pm-7 am) shift to join our growing team! Work 4 days a week and enjoy 3-day weekends!

General Plastics is a plastic thermoforming company that offers custom vacuum and pressure-forming services. We use a wide range of materials, from polycarbonate to polyethylene, and our services include forming and trimming large deep-drawn parts, precise and consistent dimensional trimming, rotary and single station forming, CNC routing, and various secondary operations. and numerous secondary operations.

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring our high-quality plastic products are assembled accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic components according to specifications and diagrams provided
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Operate machinery and tools used in the assembly process
• Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly procedures and improve efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
• Assist in training new team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in assembly work preferred
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions
• Basic math skills for measuring and organizing components
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
