What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance - Industrial Repair Technician position at General Plug and Manufacturing Co.?
We have an opportunity available at our facility located in Oberlin, Ohio. The industrial repair technician will mechanically troubleshoot, repair, and install various types of equipment. Preventative maintenance will be performed and recorded as needed. Types of machinery include but are not limited to screw machines, cold forming, and CNC.
This position demands the ability to plan and work independently to carry out projects with accuracy and a sense of urgency. Working within a team environment requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. General machining knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude skills are necessary. Candidates with a working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical preferred. Prior machine repair experience with screw machines, cold forming or CNC machines is a plus.
