What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales Associate position at General Plumbing Supply?
General Plumbing Supply is a family owned plumbing, heating, kitchen and bath wholesale-distributor established in 1910. There are currently 23 locations across New Jersey and New York.
We are looking to add a counter sales associate in our new Manahawkin, NJ branch.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service at the counter level, including writing and processing orders, answering questions on products, relaying pertinent order information to customers, and coordinating with other departments
- Discussing the use and function of different merchandise, and helping customers choose the products that meet their needs
- Assist with the pulling of orders and stocking the counter
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
Requirement
- Plumbing and/or HVAC/R knowledge/experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of the ERP Eipicor Eclipse is a plus
- Must be a team player able to achieve the goals and objectives as mandated by the Branch Manager.
- Valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
