Position Summary:

Close contracts for partner programs, at defined monthly goals, that ensure partner and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take phone orders.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Provide written and verbal quotes to customers.
  • Provide outside sales reps with product information and pricing resources.
  • Create promotional fliers.
  • Monitor stock status of inventory and turnover rates on selected inventory classes.
  • Enter vendor invoices and double check prices with purchase orders.
  • Handle tool repairs and returned items.
  • Organize and monitor showroom appearance.
  • Communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper order process and completion.
  • Monitor all open orders to ensure completion of process.
  • Process freight and UPS shipments.
  • Process end of month vendor rebates.
  • Help in warehouse when needed.
  • Identifies revenue opportunities within customers’ communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
  • Assists walk-in customer at the sales counter and handle will call transactions.
  • Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established trading partners.
  • Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers’ communities.
  • Works closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development.
  • Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations.
  • Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce industries.
  • Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.

Education/Experience:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years in a sales or sales support role
  • This position requires up to 25% travel.

Preferred:

  • Experience with business-to-business commerce, internet communication and Acumatica software.
  • Two years in customer service or inside sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
