Position Summary:
Close contracts for partner programs, at defined monthly goals, that ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Take phone orders.
- Provide customer support.
- Provide written and verbal quotes to customers.
- Provide outside sales reps with product information and pricing resources.
- Create promotional fliers.
- Monitor stock status of inventory and turnover rates on selected inventory classes.
- Enter vendor invoices and double check prices with purchase orders.
- Handle tool repairs and returned items.
- Organize and monitor showroom appearance.
- Communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper order process and completion.
- Monitor all open orders to ensure completion of process.
- Process freight and UPS shipments.
- Process end of month vendor rebates.
- Help in warehouse when needed.
- Identifies revenue opportunities within customers’ communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
- Assists walk-in customer at the sales counter and handle will call transactions.
- Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established trading partners.
- Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
- Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
- Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers’ communities.
- Works closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development.
- Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations.
- Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
- Remains knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce industries.
- Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
Education/Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two years in a sales or sales support role
- This position requires up to 25% travel.
Preferred:
- Experience with business-to-business commerce, internet communication and Acumatica software.
- Two years in customer service or inside sales.
