Our Assistant Parts Managers are tasked with leading a team of experts who strive for internal and external customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels based on part turnover.
- Conduct inventory control with daily cycle counts.
- Oversee special order parts process and ensure timely delivery.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to our retail store.
- Work with Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and stock items.
- Develop, enforce and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer/vendor complaints immediately and according to General RV’s guidelines.
- Assist sales staff in providing accessories to their customers.
- Manage parts associates and develop team members.
- Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Goal oriented with a track record for meeting goals.
- Experience in inventory control with daily cycle counts.
- Ability to lead and hold other accountable.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to work with a wide range of customers.
- Schedule availability that aligns with a retail environment (early morning, evening and weekends).
- Must be detail oriented.
- Reliable and strong work ethic. Professional appearance is a must.
- Valid driver’s license.
