What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Professional position at General Security?
We have a need for a Security Alarm and low voltage technician with experience installing fire and Access Control systems. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level.
Position Details :
The primary role of this position is to install, program, test, service, and troubleshoot, Fire alarm and access control systems.
Job Responsibilities :
- Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage systems, wiring and devices.
- Test and Inspection of systems
- Installation of Fire Alarm and Access Control systems
- Programming of systems when needed
- Educate and train end users on system operation and functionality.
- Maintains the necessary truck stock / inventory (equipment and tools).
- Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
- Utilize our field service units (IPAD) for time management and documentation
- Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Work Environment & Physical requirements
Company vehicle for transportation to and from job sites or office will be provided, as well as company cell phone and field service tablet.
