Maintenance Tech
Job Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
General Nature of Duties / Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain fully automated Clay Grinding/Screening and Brick Production operation. Plant was built in 2007.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical on plant equipment;
- Utilize work order system to implement improvements for safety, quality and production.
- Aid in installation of new and replacement plant equipment;
- Able and willing to cover for production staff, weekend and holidays if needed.
Experience / Skills Desired:
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment. Welding experience a plus. Electrical and PLC experience a plus.
- Must be able to pick up 50 lbs on regular basis;
- Have and keep a valid Indiana Driver License;
- Previous experience in forklift and man-lift operation preferred;
- Able and willing to work from heights and outside.
Special Requirements:
- Monday – Friday; subject to call in and overtime primarily during breakdowns.
