Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer at General Stamping & Metalworks in South Bend, IN. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing quality control, assurance, and management processes to ensure product quality. Daily tasks include conducting quality engineering assessments, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Quality Engineering, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance skills
- Experience in Product Quality and Quality Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and precision
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Certifications in quality management systems (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2 Years Metal Fabrication Industry experience preferred
