What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Wireman Technician- Fabrication Department position at General Technologies, Inc.?
General Technologies, Inc., has an immediate openings for a Control Wireman Technician in our Fabrication department. The Control Wireman Tech is responsible for coordinating the assembly of wired panels according to established production quality standards and engineering specification. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of point to point wiring concepts and the installation of a wide array of electrical/mechanical components.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Perform point to point wiring for electrical control panels.
- Work from engineering drawings and schematics.
- Perform standard wiring procedures which include proper wire routing, stripping, crimping of lugs, torque terminal blocks per specification & proper wire termination.
- Will strip, crimp pins to wires and connect to housings, install hardware where needed.
- Using a multi meter and other test equipment, perform evaluations of electrical assemblies for continuity, current, functionality, and voltage.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Educational and General Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 plus years related experience in a production, manufacturing, or electrical related field.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly schematics.
- Familiarity with assembly tools; hand and power tools.
- Ability to read unit of measurements.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 7am 3:30pm (Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed)

Salary : $18 - $20
