Inside Sales Representative – Industrial Division
As General Tool is constantly evolving, expanding, and growing, and due to the demands of our overall customer base, we need a professional Inside Sales Representative within our Industrial Team. This position requires knowledge in the wide range of diamond tools used within the Industrial industry, as well as their respected applications. This candidate must be very detailed, goal oriented, have fantastic problem-solving skills, and can position themselves as a skilled professional amongst their peers and professional community. This candidate must also be an effective communicator both on the phone and through written expressions, with sound judgement and knowledge. This candidate must also be an effective bilingual communicator in Spanish (read, write, speak) to be able to convey details of products to the Spanish speaking community as well. Responsibilities & Duties:
- Accepts new knowledge and tactics to help answer customers’ concerns and/or questions.
- The capability to handle medium-to-large amounts of accounts.
- Familiar with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Assist CSRs to address and resolve any customer situations promptly.
- Learning and maintaining knowledge of products- old, new, and / or current products and applications.
- Ability to perform a full range of sales responsibilities independently and / or in a team environment.
- Meet proposed goals, quotas, and forecasted sales expectations.
- Effectively responding to customers in a timely manner via email and phone calls.
- Order entry, RMA generation, generation of quotes, freight knowledge, and the ability to close the deals.
- Assigned additional duties as necessary.
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of relevant work experience (required).
- Must be fluent and bilingual in written and spoken English and Spanish to understand and comprehend our customer base.
- Must be able to construct well written, clear, concise, professional emails in both English and Spanish (required).
- Familiar with SAP including Microsoft Office (required).
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Extremely detail-oriented, positive, and effective proven problem solver.
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Must know basic mathematics, metrics and measures.
- Supply chain management knowledge.
- Be an effective, enthusiastic, communicator.
- A/R collection and reconciliation.
- Must be energetic, punctual, professional, and have a drive to push the envelope every day.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 40lbs to carry products to customers.
- Ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions.
- Ability to interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers/clients.
- Ability to deal with people under adverse circumstances.
