Description :
General Trading is looking for an experienced Hilo / Reach Truck Mechanic. The reach truck mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of reach trucks and other warehouse equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on reach trucks, forklifts, and related equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant with industry standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Order and replace faulty parts, ensuring timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Communicate with operators and management regarding equipment performance and maintenance needs.
Qualifications :
6am - 2 : 30pm, Monday - Friday
40 hours
Compensation details : 18-25 Yearly Salary
