About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to join our team in Carlstadt, NJ. As a Warehouse Distribution Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all products are received, stored, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting all customer demands and expectations.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 4am – 2:30pm (10 hr shift)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
- Manage a team of warehouse associates, providing training and support as needed
- Ensure a safe working environment for all associates
- Ensure that all products are properly received, stored and organized, minimizing damage and loss
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Forklift certification
