What youll be doing.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for analyzing and applying travel industry compliance concepts and practices in the development, compilation, tracking, and organization of the Financial Crimes program. This position is a direct report to the Financial Crimes Manager.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance Document Management
- Has primary responsibility for the development, review, evaluation, and approval of Compliance documentation.
- Monitors Regulatory developments, primarily related to International Sanctions.
- Investigates, documents and resolves compliance-related incidents and escalations.
- Ensures compliance controls are within standards by monitoring internal systems and communicating with relevant stakeholders to assess current processes.
- Supports the implementation and enhancements of Compliance and Financial Crimes programs.
Analysis and Reporting
- Extracts and analyzes data from various internal systems, compiles and assembles relevant information into spreadsheets/reports, and presents summaries and recommendations (if applicable).
- Maintains repository of all accumulated data and reports to conduct periodic analysis. Provides recommendations on changes based on the results of analysis.
- Participates in internal audits and assessments.
Administrative Coordination
- Maintains resource materials for primary job functions (i.e., manual, flow-charts, task instructions, etc.).
- Develops internal resource materials and training communication on compliance related changes that affect employees to promote awareness and preparedness.
- Cross-trained to provide support for Compliance Analyst Partner position.
- Participates in meetings, special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an insurance, compliance or legal environment is preferred; travel insurance industry experience is highly desired.
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, regulations, and laws within insurance field preferred.
- Experience working large datasets and report generation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Experience working with complex proprietary computer systems highly preferred.
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
- Some college coursework is preferred.
When youll be doing it.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Pembroke Pines, FL office. As a hybrid role, you will be working onsite 2-3 days a week and working from home 2-3 days a week.
