What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Guide - Two Positions position at GenerateHope Inc?
As we re-open our Northern Colorado residential restorative care home, we are looking to fill two full-time Resident Guide positions which involves coming alongside formerly sex trafficked women in their healing process to provide support with daily activities, and emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. This role involves living in (potential for shift work) & managing the household where the survivors live and fostering a healthy community environment there.
This role requires a heart for trafficked women, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to set boundaries and communicate in a healthy manner. This position also involves participating as a member of a multidisciplinary team of professionals engaged in helping the residents heal from the trauma of the sex trade & move successfully on with their lives.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of the home and be directly responsible for administering operations
- Collaborate with the GenerateHope team on resident issues, strengths and concerns
- Help residents settle in, feel safe at home & facilitate interactions with other residents in a healthy manner
- Provide instruction on basic life skills such as housekeeping, personal hygiene, grocery shopping, nutritious meal preparation, sleep routine, fitness, etc.
- Maintain a calm and comfortable setting within the house
- Build healthy, safe relationships with the residents
- Set healthy boundaries for self-care, setting an example for the residents
- Live in the home with the residents in your furnished private bedroom with ensuite bathroom
Qualifications
- Concern for sex trafficked women & a desire to assist them in their healing
- Mental health, crisis intervention, trauma experience a plus
- Residential experience a plus
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team member
- Household Skills
