Position Overview
The Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening Generation Hopes internal operations. This part-time position focuses on maintaining office procedures, providing administrative support, and serving as a primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and stakeholders at the National Office in DC. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator contributes to key internal programs, including advancing Generation Hopes race equity initiatives and supporting the Internship Program, while ensuring smooth and efficient office logistics.
With a strong attention to detail and substantial experience in administrative or operational roles, the Administrative Coordinator will help ensure the seamless functioning of our office. This part-time role will occur in the National Office in DC three (3) days a week. , making it an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking a meaningful and balanced work experience. Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage and update the organization-wide calendar and the National Office calendar, ensuring staff are informed of scheduling changes.
- Support electronic document management and filing systems to ensure accurate and accessible record-keeping, including leading the shared company drive.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, trainings, and events for the HR department.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations & Strategy to ensure timely distribution of incoming mail and proper handling of outgoing correspondence.
- At times, assist the Executive Leadership Team with administrative tasks, including preparing documents, correspondence, and reports.
