Gunsmith

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gunsmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in firearms repair, maintenance, and customization. This role requires a deep understanding of various firearm types and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. The Gunsmith will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all firearms meet safety standards. Must be 21 years of age and able to pass a background check. Looking for work schedule of Tuesday - Friday 11am - 7:30pm, Saturday 9am - 5:30pm (negotiable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of firearms, including rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on firearms to ensure optimal performance.
• Customize firearms based on customer specifications, including modifications to stocks, barrels, and sights.
• Install and adjust sights, scopes, stocks, triggers and other accessories.
• Perform barrel fitting, chambering and head spacing.
• Port, pin, thread, cut and crown barrels.
• Perform mill work such as slide serrations and RMR cuts.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and modifications performed on each firearm.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding firearms handling and repair.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering expert advice on firearm care and usage.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in firearms technology and repair techniques.

• Knowledge of firearm safety protocols and regulations.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a gunsmith or in a related field is mandatory.
