The Certified Dietary Manager will supervise the food and beverage service for residents, employees and visitors. This Individual will be involved in training and supervision of cooking staff. Will also assist with cooking for special events, holidays, happy hours, etc.
Responsibilities of the Certified Dietary Manager:
- Resident satisfaction is a priority
- Ensure the use of standardized recipes in food preparation
- Ensure proper sanitation and safety practices of staff are followed
- Support registered dietician
- Interview, hire, train, coach, discipline and terminate employees
- Plan and direct special events and presentations
- Budget Management
- Rounds, resident documentation
- Order all food and kitchen supplies
- Supervise the receipt and storage of kitchen deliveries
- Ensure proper maintenance of all food service equipment

Requirements
of the Food Service Supervisor:
- Successful completion of Certified Dietary Manager course/exam
- Two years’ exp.in food service management in a healthcare dietary environment
- Effective written and oral skills
- Supervisor experience
- Personable and professional with all associates, residents and family members
