ACTIVITY AIDE - Part Time – Generations at Oakton Arms, Des Plaines, IL
Generations at Oakton Arms in Des Plaines, IL, seeks a Part Time Activity Aide. The Ideal Candidate is Available Monday - Friday, from 10:00am - 4:00pm - $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of the Part Time Activity Aide:
- The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
- Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
- Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis
- Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning
- May assist with resident mail delivery
Requirements
of the Part Time Activity Aide:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Computer Graphic skills big plus
- Creative and Artistically inclined helpful
- Experience in Long-Term Care and Dementia preferred
- Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
- High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
