ACTIVITY AIDE - Part-Time – Generations at Rock Island
Generations at Rock Island in Rock Island, IL seeks Part-Time Activity Aides for 1st and 2nd shifts and alternating weekends. Must have experience in Long Term Care or Senior Living. And, must pass a complete background check that may require fingerprinting.
These are part-time positions with hours during the week every other weekend. $15.00 per hour. One position is 7:30a - 4:00p every other Monday and Friday and every other weekend. The others are for 3:30-7:30p Every Other Weekend and some evenings during the week.

Responsibilities of the Activity Aide:
- The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
- Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
- Visit bed residents on a one-to-one basis
- Participate in resident assessment and discharge planning
- May assist with resident mail delivery

Requirements
of the Part Time Activity Aide:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two (2) years of Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
- High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards-
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
