PORTFOLIO MANAGER
The Portfolio Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the bank's credit and investment portfolios to ensure optimal performance, risk control, and regulatory compliance. What does a Portfolio Manager do? The specific duties/responsibilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.
- Manage the performance, composition, and risk profile of the bank's credit and/or investment portfolios.
- Monitor portfolio trends, credit exposures, concentrations, and delinquencies; escalate concerns as needed.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and stress testing to assess credit and market risk.
- Collaborate with Lending, Risk, and Finance teams to support strategic allocation and pricing decisions.
- Prepare and present detailed portfolio reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., OCC, FDIC, FRB), and risk appetite frameworks.
- Assist in developing and enhancing portfolio management tools, models, and reporting dashboards.
- Support internal and external audits, examinations, and regulatory reporting activities.
SECONDARY DUTIES
- Leads by representing the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The position of Portfolio Manager is not responsible for the supervision of any employees.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This full-time, exempt position reports to the Market President of the Rogers branch. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8-5, with occasional overtime hours. The working arrangement is on-site.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - you must have these to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 1 or more years of experience managing the credit and/or investment portfolio of a financial institution.
- Ability to perform the essential functions and physical demands of the job as listed above.
- Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - if you have these you will stand out:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan processing.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
- Detailed knowledge of related state and federal loan regulations and other Bank lending policies.
- Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; host computer system; and word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Competence to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.
- Skill to navigate normal problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
