Position:
Job Summary & Requirements:
· Compensation based on experience
· Full-time position
Provides human resources and administrative support to the Human Resources Department on a daily basis. Assists employees with questions or concerns relating to human resources. Assists in coordination of programs and practices including recruitment, retention, training, etc. as well as daily and/or operational activities of the HR office. Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding functions; management/maintenance of employee personnel files (including preparing and filing important documents to maintain compliance); background checks; verification of licensure; accreditation/regulatory agencies’ compliance as well as legal compliance of local, state, and federal laws; payroll and benefits coordination; etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
· Above-average knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
· Quality focus and detail-oriented.
· Experience in filing, organization, word, excel, and other applications required
Additional Skills / Qualifications:
· Previous experience working for a hospital or healthcare company preferred.
· Ability to learn The Joint Commission, state and federal regulations relating to human resource a plus
· Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
· Ability to project a professional image.
· Ability to learn regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
· Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
· Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSURES, REGISTRATIONS:
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
ATTENDANCE:
Regular and punctual attendance required.
