Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing and safe environment for young children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual children.
- Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Manage classroom activities, ensuring all children are engaged and entertained.
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children, ensuring they are healthy and nutritious.
- Administer first aid when necessary and keep a first aid kit on hand.
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and educators to provide a comprehensive and integrated care and education program.
- Keep the classroom clean and organized, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all children.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or preschool setting.
- Ability to educate and engage children in various activities, such as arts, music, and physical education.
- Experience with classroom management and the ability to maintain a structured and organized environment.
- Knowledge of infant and toddler care, including feeding, bathing, and soothing techniques.
- Understanding of preschool curriculum and the ability to develop and implement lesson plans.
- Experience with first aid and the ability to administer basic first aid when necessary.
- Experience working with children of various ages and abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move quickly to respond to children's needs.
- Physical stamina to keep up with the energy of young children.
- Passion for providing high-quality childcare and education to young children.
