Billing Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking, entering, and maintaining billing processes that are in place, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with relevant SNS standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete Review of submitted documentation for billing/ invoices.
• Prepare billing invoices timely for submission to the State of West Virginia Multiple times weekly.
• Maintain accurate paper records of billing weekly.
• Perform authorizations, and reauthorizations through Acentra Health timely and without fail weekly
• Complete Payouts weekly.
• Communicate with contractors regarding documentation attachments needed for completed billing.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on issues with billing.
• Completed all required training as part of on-going staff development.

Requirements

• Proficiency in math skills for accurate unit/ rate calculations.
• Experience with current UM Standards.
• Familiarity with ASO Terminology.
• Familiarity with Google Docs/ Sheets/ Scheduling/ General Calendar
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to be physically present in the office Monday- Friday from the hours of 9am-5pm.
• There is no remote flexibility for this position.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
