What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Generations Home Care?
**We do NOT have independent clients. Candidates must be able to complete direct cares with male and female residents, which includes bathing, feeding, toileting, dressing, etc.**

We provide 24-hour support to adults in a nurturing and home-like setting. Our dedicated team of professionals plan and deliver individualized care, focusing on the unique needs and personality of each person.
Positions Available in Waite Park and St. Joseph:
Part-time Lead* position – scheduled 7am-3pm at 24 hours a week, which includes an every other weekend rotation. *Position includes 4 hours of office time and call-in coverage with increased compensation.
Part-time day* position – scheduled 7am-3pm at 32 hours a week, which includes an every other weekend rotation. *Position is a one to one with developmentally disabled male client, mental health experience required.
Part-time evening* position – scheduled 3am-10pm at 21 hours a week, which includes an every other weekend rotation. *Position is a one to one with developmentally disabled male client, mental health experience required.
Part-time Appointment Attendant position – scheduled various hours from 8am to 4pm about 16 hours a week (this will vary per week) from Monday to Friday. No weekends.
Occasionally we have Full-Time positions available, please reach out for more information! Employees are welcome to cross-train to multiple locations for more hours! Overtime is permitted!
Hire Bonus as followed:
$50 - 30 days
$100 - 90 days
$150 - 180 days
$300 - 365 days
*Position specific qualifications include:
Applicants must be 18 years of age
Applicants must be able to pass a background check
Applicants must live in the local or surrounding area and have reliable transportation to work
Prefer applicants to have at least 6 months of direct care experience with hands-on care in Assisted Living, Nursing Home or Group Home setting.
