Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting social and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Proven ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to various learning styles.
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to children is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices is beneficial for working with younger age groups.
