What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN or LPN Treatment Nurse (Weekends Only) position at Generations of Red Bay?
Generations of Red Bay, LLC is looking for a Treatment Nurse to join our team.
This position is responsible and accountable to provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the resident's attending physician or the Director of Nursing, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. You will assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN or LPN in the state of Alabama.
- Must possess the skills to perform techniques and practices of a treatment nurse.
- Must have at least one year clinical experience in a hospital or long term care facility.
- Must have knowledge of and interest in the care of the geriatric resident.
