What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infection Prevention Risk Management Nurse RN position at Generations of Vernon, LLC?
Generations of Vernon, LLC is looking for an Infection Preventionist Nurse to manage infection prevention monitoring, implementation of facility programs, train, monitor, and audit employee's compliance with infection control practices. The Infection Preventionist will report data and results to the facility management, corporate management, and appropriate regulatory authorities based on guidelines set forth by the company policy, State and CMS regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse.
- Must be willing to work altered shifts to ensure the practice of infection prevention across all shifts and rotations.
- Must be able to make frequent facility rounds and monitor infection control practices.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have an outgoing personality and ability to confront and correct improper practices.
Other:
- This position reports to the Director of Nursing.
- Must complete the Infection Preventionist Training approved by the CDC.
- Must participate in facility rotations of "late days", On Call Schedule , etc.
