Job Description :
We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Interlock Kit. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales and relationship-building, as you'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong connections with supply stores and distributors, educating them about our products, and driving sales growth.
The Sales Representative will spend the majority of their time on the road, visiting retail stores, distribution centers, and contractors’ suppliers to showcase and sell our interlock kits. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Interlock Kit products are well-represented, stocked, and sold to end customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Growth & Account Management :
- Identify and build relationships with new and existing supply store accounts within your assigned region.
- Actively promote and sell Interlock Kit’s interlocking products to distributors, retailers, and suppliers.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and visibility of our products at the retail level.
- Provide regular updates on sales activity and performance, tracking KPIs such as sales targets, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Product Education & Training :
- Educate store managers, sales staff, and decision-makers on the benefits, features, and technical specifications of our interlock kits.
- Offer product demonstrations and assist customers in understanding how Interlock Kits can meet their needs for various applications (landscaping, home improvement, etc.).
- Conduct regular in-store visits to ensure proper product placement and display.
- Market Intelligence :
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Report on market conditions, customer feedback, and competitor products to the sales manager.
- Customer Service & Problem Solving :
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth ordering process.
- Work with the internal team to ensure product availability, delivery schedules, and follow-up support.
- Territory Management :
- Efficiently manage and plan travel schedules, ensuring timely and effective coverage of your designated territory.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
