Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician / Generator Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics, troubleshoot issues, and perform installations. This role requires a commitment to safety standards and adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyman Electrician / Installer will work on various projects, ensuring that all electrical work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties :
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to test electrical systems for functionality.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to determine the layout of wiring systems.
Perform troubleshooting on electrical equipment and systems to identify faults.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications :
Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience as an Electrician.
Proficient in using electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, NEC regulations, and safety practices.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Previous maintenance experience is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
The ability and willingness to learn is a must!
Bilingual English & Spanish required.
