Responsibilities:  

  • Recruit, hire, train and manage sales team by establishing individual sales quotas to meet assigned goals. 
  • Conduct monthly sales meetings to review current sales action items/issues, pipeline, and backlog. 
  • Provide supervision to direct reports which include objective setting, performance management and motivating as well as training and coaching. 
  • Provide supervision of aftermarket and service sales through inside sales representative which include objective setting, performance management and motivating as well as training and coaching. 
  • Perform periodic performance reviews in line with the established goals for sales team, sales associate and direct reports and design performance improvement programs when needed. 
  • Analyze sales statistics gathered by sales team to determine missed opportunities and setting goals and creating sales plans monthly for team. 
  • Assist salespeople with generator installation questions and sales closing calls. 
  • Ensure Sales Representatives maintain a minimum GenMonitor close rate of 91% 
  • Maintain correct pricing and install timeframe with install. Track sales and sales conversion rates (from quote to Install) for Generator Supercenter of Detroit. 
  • Conduct a continual search for new product information and business trends within the area of responsibility. Stay informed of the top competition from how they install, to google reviews.  
  • Schedule Home Shows and ensure proper Home Show equipment is available, including signage, table covers, and badges. 
  • Grow and Develop the Builders Programs to ensure continuing relationships with builders and their customers. 
  • Be informed and educated on any local competitors to ensure price matching is for reputable companies. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales sheet, marking applicable sales for commission. 
  • Enter payments and update quotes in RazorSync to reflect down payments. 
  • Review sold jobs to confirm accurate quoting. 
  • File and organize sales folders systematically. 
  • Utilize the Marketing Budget accordingly in order to generate sales.  
  • Travel and train other stores, as needed. 
  • If and when the Costco program is added, these will count toward bonus amounts. 
  • If and when the LOWES program is added, these will count toward bonus amounts. 
  • Responsibilities will also include any other duties as assigned.
