This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse by receiving, storing, tracking and distributing products, ensuring proper stock rotation, performing cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Stock Management - regularly monitoring inventory levels to identify potential stockouts or overstocking situations and placing purchase orders accordingly.
- Receiving and Processing Shipments - verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, checking for damage, and accurately recording received items in the inventory system.
- Inventory Cycle Counting - performing physical counts of stock items at regular intervals to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping - updating inventory management systems with accurate data regarding stock levels, product details, and shipment information.
