Project Duration : 3 months Contract
Shift : Day Shift- Friday-Sunday- 8am-830pm
Job Description :
- The Acute Care Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment.
- Performs CT procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
- Operates a CT scanner to obtain images used in the diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies.
- Uses knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals.
- Modifies technical settings and adjusts scanning parameters to enhance images and minimize unnecessary exposure.
- Performs routine quality inspections and quality control maintenance on scanner as recommended by the manufacturer and / or organizational policies and procedures.
