Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Professional will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging to assist in diagnosing diseases and injuries under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Operating CT scanners to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs.
- Positioning patients accurately for scanning procedures.
- Conducting regular maintenance on CT scanners to ensure optimal performance.
- Preparing and administering contrast agents to patients.
- Interpreting scanning instructions from physicians.
- Providing patient care and support during scanning procedures.
- Ensuring accurate and high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information and scanning details.
Requirements:
- Degree in radiologic technology or related field.
- State licensure and ARRT certification.
- Experience in radiologic technology and CT scanning.
- CPR and BLS certification.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Technical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
