Job description :
This senior technical writer position will be part of the Automotive and Energy Solutions (AES) group of Client Technologies.
We are seeking an experienced senior technical writer to join our development team that is primarily located in Loveland, CO. The focus of this team is to develop hardware and software solutions needed to support grid interconnect certification testing of distributed energy resources such as solar inverters, charging stations, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles. This position will be responsible for planning and creation of learning products required for customer releases.
Responsibilities :
- Creates, develops, plans, writes, and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures, including user manuals, guides, and tutorials, for paper, multimedia or web-based publication.
- Conducts interviews, researches, and translates technical information into manuals and / or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users.
- Participates with the product development teams during all phases of product development to ensure accurate and effective documentation.
- Produces products that conform to regulatory compliance standards and Client documentation and quality assurance standards.
- Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements. Proposes modern and innovative methods to enhance end-user experience.
