Delivery Technician / Laborer

Generator installation company is looking to hire general laborers. The position will consist of field work that involves delivering generators and propane tanks, running gas and electric lines underground, on walls, and through attics, and actively and professionally communicating with customers. This career path provides a basic foundation for future career opportunities in the electrical and plumbing (gas) fields.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Arriving to the office at 6 AM
• Loading and unloading generators, concrete pads, and propane tanks using both the physical body and machinery to assist
• Setting and position generators on jobsites using the physical body, machinery, and cranes
• Roughing in gas and electric lines through crawlspaces, attics, and on walls
• Digging trenches for underground gas and electric lines
• Assisting in the installation of underground propane tanks
• Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties
• Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
• Function as part of a team

Qualifications / Experience:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outside year round
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment
• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
• Ability to function as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
