- Delivers interoffice correspondence, payroll documents, school supplies, and equipment on a regular basis to district facilities and programs housed in the facilities within the Genesee Intermediate School District service area.
- Identifies minor preventive maintenance repairs and maintains a log to that effect for the safe operation of the district van.
- Maintains an operating schedule for the district van.
- Follows a delivery route to ensure the timely pickup and delivery of district correspondence at the various sites.
- Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
- May sort mail and prepare supplies and equipment for delivery.
- May be responsible for the delivery of mail from district facilities to area U. S. postal facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Two (2) years previous experience in mail/package delivery required. Must have valid Michigan driver's license with excellent driving record.
Skills/Other:
Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skills sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Demonstrate physical stamina necessary for lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials, repetitive stooping, squatting, bending, lifting, walking, kneeling and reaching while maintaining personal balance and stability. Ability to accept supervision and follow verbal and written instructions. Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position. Ability to work a flexible workday, work week, and work year. Demonstrated dependability and trustworthiness. Works successfully as a member of the team. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with board policies and established administrative guidelines.
