- Provides instruction and support to staff for data input for ChildPlus, Ages & Stages Questionnaires® Social Emotional (ASQ-SE), and Ages & Stages Questionnaires® Third Edition (ASQ-3).
- Assists with TSGold implementation.
- Provides instruction and support to staff for data input for TSGold.
- Assists in maintaining databases.
- Prepares and enters program files for reports and other documents as required.
- Develops databases as needed to support the work of early childhood and expanded learning.
- Assists in Project Coordination, including planning, deliverables, outcomes, and meeting facilitation.
- Assists in preparing program reports for Federal, State, and local requirements.

Job Summary: The Data Technician-Level II will assist with the day to day duties of the data needs for Early Childhood and Expanded Learning. The Data Technician-Level II will assist with quality data management, reporting, and analysis of programs such as Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), Head Start, SKIP, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and others as needed. The Technician will work in collaboration with the Early Childhood and Expanded Learning Data manager, Technology and Media Services, and Synergy Student Information Systems, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be used on a daily basis.Genesee Intermediate
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
Education:
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. College level course work in information technology or related courses desired.
Experience:
Two years of documented computerized data entry experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data systems, interpretation of data, and data training preferred. Experience in the provision of data management, preferably working with State Reporting activities. Experience pertaining to data reporting and student assessment and data applications preferred. ChildPlus management software experience preferred.
Skills/Other:
Demonstrate ability necessary to set up and process source documents with speed and accuracy. Knowledge of the keyboard and efficient in the ability to key information accurately. Extensive knowledge of data management software such as Excel and Access. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skill sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Ability to concentrate for long periods of time with attention to detail. Works with clerical team members to provide excellent customer service. Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
