The Teacher Assistant (TA) – Mott Middle College is responsible for working under the direction of the classroom teacher assisting students during the learning process. The Teacher Assistant is a highly motivated college student that will provide support to classroom teachers and students at Mott Middle College. They will assist with creating an engaging and effective learning environment for students. As a TA, you will support teachers in fostering academic growth, and promoting student success within the high school setting.
Essential Duties:
Education:
High School Diploma required. Required college course enrollment. Associates degree or higher preferred.
Experience:
One or more years of work experience with adolescence is preferred. Relevant work experience in the content area preferred.
Skills/Other:
Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Ability to utilize district technology and work to maintain proficiency, as required skills sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Exhibits self-control, mature judgment, congeniality, and ethical standards in all working relationships.
