Kensington Woods Kensington Woods Schools is looking for a part time School Social Worker for 6-12th grade. This position will service students with IEPs and also general education students.
A qualified candidate will possess :
- Graduate degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
- Eligible for state approval for school social work.
- Demonstrated competence as a school-based social services counselor
- Experience with supporting students with IEPs and associated compliance work
- Strong collaboration skills

Kensington Woods is a small, personal, college-prep school for grades 6-12 in Livingston County, MI. Kensington Woods' approach is student centered where students are expected and encouraged to excel. The schedule supports project based learning, co-teaching, subject-area integration and staff professional development and collaborative planning. Students have an advisory class that focuses on character and academic skill development and also provides time for remediation, tutoring, extended learning, clubs and student leadership activities.
