What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor Relations Attorney position at Genesee Valley BOCES?
Qualifications:
- Possession of Juris Doctor Degree from a NYS school or Regionally accredited law school
- Attorney admitted to practice in NYS or soon to be
- Experience and/or education in public sector labor law, education law, collective bargaining and human resources preferred
Duties:
- Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements for school districts
- Serve as hearing officer in student discipline hearings
- Conduct Investigations
- Provide labor law counsel and other services as needed
Location:
- Genesee Valley BOCES-LeRoy, NY
Salary:
- $90,000-$98,000
- Full time with benefits and NYS Pension
