Position
- Math Teacher-Early College High School
Qualifications:
- NYS Certification in Math 7-12
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in Mathematics, Education, Technology and/or Business preferred
- A strong candidate would be a math instructor with some business background to potentially teach business courses.
- The preferred candidate will be eligible to be approved by Genesee Community College as an ACE Instructor.
- Willingness to collaborate with a team, incorporate Project Based Learning, work between Byron Bergen location (9th/10th graders) and Genesee Community College (11th graders).
Location:
- Genesee Community College and Byron-Bergen CSD
- This is a unique, small, regional high school through Genesee Valley BOCES where students earn an AAS Degree in various college pathways through our partner college, Genesee Community College. The program promotes a unique learning environment, project-based learning, and partnerships with business and industry as we provide guidance for students in career exploration and transitioning to the workforce and/or college.
Salary:
- $45,000-$60,000
- Negotiable based on experience
Start Date:
- Fall 2025
- Some summer hours may be required.
