*Job Summary*
- The Genesee Valley Club is looking to fill part time positions 10-15 hours per week in the Child Care area. The Valley Kids Attendant will be working in a private Club environment, responsible for all tasks related to care of the children. They will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to children.
*Responsibilities*
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
- Supervise the children’s activities at all times
- Coordinate meals with parents & then order them
- Change diapers
- Cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles
- Teach the children good social manners
- Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors
- Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children
*Job Qualifications*
- Experience caring for children
- Training in early childhood education preferred
- First aid training and child and infant CPR
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- English proficiency
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Physical ability to care for a young child
- Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work evenings & weekends
- Thorough knowledge of sports and games.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Personable, co-operative and enthusiastic.
- Neat appearance and must conform to department dress code standards.
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software are helpful
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
