Campus Title Assistant Professor of Accounting Department School of Business Position Summary The School of Business at SUNY Geneseo is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Accounting to begin August 2025. Duties of the position include :
- Teaching three 3-credit accounting courses each semester at the graduate and undergraduate levelsonline and on campus. Courses may include Financial Accounting, Tax, Managerial Accounting, and other courses consistent with academic preparation, professional experiences, and needs of accounting programs.
- Pending final approval of the online MS Accounting program, serving as the primary contact for this program, providing academic, internship, and career advice and mentoring to students in this program, and devoting 50% of their time to the MSA program.
- Contributing to the field through published scholarship consistent with the AACSB qualification of Scholarly Academics.
- Collaborating with the other accounting faculty members to update existing courses and develop new courses to meet the changing needs of the accounting profession.
- Service to the School of Business, the College, and the accounting profession.
