The SUNY Geneseo Facilities Department is looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Cleaner. SUNY Geneseo encourages a positive workforce where employees take pride in their work and thrive in a team-based environment.
You’ll perform a variety of routine manual tasks in cleaning and caring for an assigned area. Typical tasks assigned to this position include :
- Cleaning, dusting, and polishing assigned areas including furniture, metal fixtures, and equipment
- Maintaining floors, corridors, stairs, and stairwells by washing, stripping, waxing floors, and vacuuming and shampooing carpets
- Cleaning and scrubbing walls, partitions, and windows from the inside or outside of buildings and all areas of lavatories and locker rooms including cleaning blood spills and bodily fluids
- Moving furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning activities, meeting set up, or special events
Various shifts available Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
